Our standards include:
- 4” soft crinoline is used for natural pleats, many years of cleanings, and good looks.
- Blind stitched 1.5” side hems allowing a clean finished edge even to the outside.
- Linings that meet or exceed the industry standard allowing the drapery to last years longer as well as have that custom look.
- Blind stitched double 4” to 6” bottom hems on all sheers and drapery for a better hanging, more stable treatment.
- Flannel interlining or English bump interlining are used when necessary.
- Seven to nine folds in all swags that are most often cut on the bias for more opulent look.
- Three folds 7” to 10” deep in draperies or sheers for richer looking pleats.
- Patterns and repeats are always matched.
- Tiebacks are self lined or pillow cased lined for custom installation.
- Weights are used in hems at corners and seams for more stability.
- Cascades and Jabots are self lined or contrast lined.
- Custom color brackets are available to blend with walls.
- Fabrics are inspected for flaws before cutting.
- All patterns, Stripes, plaids must be straight and centered.
- All boards are covered in lining or matching fabric.
- The tops of printed drapery in the same room will match.
- Shaped valances are faced with the same fabric or contrast lined.
- All spacing between pleats, tabs, grommets, etc. will be even.
- All products are inspected before delivery to insure the fabrication is up to our standards.
